Who am I? My name is Dan Condon and I have been active in wood working for over 30 years. I have done everything from home construction and remolding to kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, entertainment centers, built-ins and the design and constructions of custom furniture. I am a self-taught woodworker and have only recently decided to pursue my craft full time.

Some of my projects that my interest you: Cabinets – including built-in, kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment centers. Furniture – includes rocking chairs, end tables, sofa tables, and silver chest on stand. Accessories - such as wall mirrors, wall and mantel clocks. Novelty Items - Including game boards and wine stands. Small boxes – includes jewelry chests, ring boxes and humidors. How do I work? I design the project to fit the customers needs and work on a single project at a time enabling my to give it my full attention. I will meet with you to get an initial idea of what you are looking for and from our meeting I will then produce a preliminary design with a cost estimate. We will work together until we decide on a final design. At that time I will produce working drawings and on you approval will develop a time schedule and begin work on your unique piece of furniture. Why buy custom made furniture? With a custom made piece of furniture the craftsman will personally choose the wood so the grain and color match and will accent the wood and let its real beauty show through. In manufactured furniture the wood is not hand selected it is bought by the truckload. I will hand select all the wood for each piece of furniture that I construct. Construction details are another way that the furniture factories can save time and money. They utilize computer-controlled machinery for dowel and biscuit joinery. In all of my furniture I will use traditional joinery such as mortise and tenon joints and dovetail joints. These are old time craftsman joints that have stood the test of time. The cost of custom furniture is of course more than you typical furniture show room that handles factory furniture. Take a look at your upper lines like Stickley, Guy Chaddock, and even the lines by Ethan Allen. I can compete with them and most instances beat their prices. Also, I design to fit that spot.
